The “Outlaw Nation” 30 will stand out as one of the best races of the year!

And the A Hobby drivers did not let us down, from the time the green was dropped in the qualifying round, to the time the checkered dropped on the 07 of Donnie Farmer, the A-Hobby boys put on a show!

It started with Qualifying and the A hobby cars were getting it done tonight, with Richard Dixon taking the pole award money, and the Dirt Demon Devin Stuart, just .001sec. Behind. Dixon timed in with a 15.081 to Devin Stuart’s 15.082 lap. Now that is close!

Then came the heats to fill out the feature field, in heat one it was Richard Dixon and Robby Greene leading them to the green flag,Greene would get around the 3 car of Dixon to take the heat win and Dixon was 2nd with a fast charging Farmer running 3rd.

Heat 2 saw the 148 of Brooks walk away followed to the checkered by Stuart in the 20 and Greg Brown in the 90.

For 30 laps the leader never had a rest, someone was on his bumper till the last lead change, when Farmer took the lead he seemed to pull away as the others front runners fell back. The 148 of Booger Brooks and the 00 of Robby Greene, lead most of the first part of the race, but as the laps wore on the 07 started moving up, first getting around the 00 of Greene, then starting to work on the 148 of Brooks, lap after lap then he put the 07 in the bottom and just drove off.

Crates ran heats, and had a good field of cars. The 12 of Owenby jumped out to an early lead, but Jeff “Spanky” Smith in the 17s motored to the front and worked his way around the 12 of Owneby to take the win .

1 #17s Jeff Smith

2# 12 Darrell Owenby

3# 17H Randy Hill

4# 149 Bo Stanley

5# 3D Jim Bob Davis

In limited late model it was Roger Dickson in the 06 taking the win with, the #1 of Trig Parrish 2nd, Devon Dilbeck 3rd and Spencer Singleton rounding out the top 4.

Econo Hobby was action packed as well with Joe Dockery producing a huge fire ball down the front straight, until he could get his car stopped on the back straight. The 21 of Eric Hamby took the win with the 19 of Jeff Jacobs 2nd, the 72 of Dave Fletcher, 3rd and the 21 of Labron Miller 4th.

In the Mod Pony feature it was once again Grady Stokes walking away with it, in the #27 car followed by Ralph Langston in the 14 car 2nd, the 002 of Terry Smith running 3rd the 83 of Adam James 4th and Caleb Howard 5th. There was some heated action in the back of the Mod Pony race with the 7 of Howard and 00 of Corie Green putting on a good show.

I want to thank outlaw for his work in putting this show on and to all the A hobby drivers who showed up, your all A drivers to me…Great show Guys. Now when can we do this again?
