Mid Week Ramblings…… or rumblings…

This coming Saturday night at North Georgia Speedway it will be the end of the Mid-Season Championships, with a $2000.00 to win Super late model race. And there will be fireworks display too! Grandstands-$15.00 Pit’s $25.00 Gates open at 5PM and Racing starts at 7:30.

I know the racing will be good as it has been all year. Can Gary Mac, stage a comeback for the points? Can he find Victory Lane this weekend?

Will TEAM17 dominate as they have every time they have unloaded this year?

Or will it be????

Ain't no wheel's fallin off now! Shannon Bearden

Lot’s of questions to be answered this weekend.

Another question that will have to be answered is track conditions…… not been to good the past couple weeks. I am sure the track is working to make it the best it can be for the BIG race this weekend.

I have hear some rumblings that there are a couple teams getting reallly close to getting cars ready….and a couple of them for the first time this year….

And where is Delbert Haynes? He rolled in and runs really good his last time out then vanishes….Delbert if your out there contact me…

Mark Wooten has his show on Charter Cable up and running this year, for those of you who don’t have Charter you can see the show here…

Special thanks to Travis, Merc123 from the forum for posting these.

If you have not been watching the D11 car of Davy Davis you better start!, this man is on a roll, he is “doing his own thing” as he put it, and it is paying off big time, last week I really don’t think that anyone could of caught him if he had not broke a lower control arm, he came off the corners like he was fired out of a cannon. Watch Davy “The Rocket” Davis.

I received word late sunday night, that Booger Brooks took his dad’s car to Fort Payne Ala. And put a whuppin on them, winning in his first time in the car, number 74 in the books, and he is only 21!

I want to take this chance to tip my hat to Larry Flemming of the Dalton paper for stepping up and starting to cover the Races at NGS> it only took me 471 emails………….

All in all I am pleased with the new promoters at the track, they have done a good job and rolled with the punches and are still listening to the fans and the drivers trying to make things better each time they swing the gates.

I am thinking about starting a contest where a person can win free tickets to the races, what kind of game or contest would you like to see me do?

Let’s hear the idea’s…..

This is what it takes to win!!! hard work....
