Thoughts from the dr…..
This past weekend I came pretty close to getting hit at the track, the N27 lost her transmission and was fighting hard to get the car under control, but made contact with the inside wall in turn one, at the gate she hit that big foam block spliting it into 3 or 4 pieces. I was leaning on the block 10 seconds before she hit it.
The point ?I want to make is you always have to be aware of your surroundings at the track.. thankfully I was looking in the right directions and was able to get clear… drivers remember there are pople in the pits and your anger could cause a huge problem with lot’s of injuries. Fans and crew men always keep an eye out and watch for cars speeding by,
On the subject of my health, well I have a shingle virus in my right eye, I have lost 14 lbs. But I did eat some solid foods today feeling better eye is still slightly swollen and I am hopeful of going to races Saturday night… keep me in your prayers…
This weekend North Georgia speedway http://northgaspeedway.net/ host the Volunteer Racing Series $3000.00 to win will surely bring in some pretty big names.
I have not confirmed this 100% but I believe there will be 3 more points races left this year.. the track has the 18th off. So good luck to all points racers..
Again please keep me in your prayers, as I try to make it to the races…
