Apparently Mother Nature didn’t get the memo that NGS was going to practice yesterday. She dumped a bunch of rain on the track and caused the track to postpone practice until this coming Tuesday at 7 pm.
Some of the other tracks in the area have already started racing so I guess you could say they are saving the best for last with NGS opening this coming weekend.
Full racing program and lots of new things around the track. With updates to the sound system, some new cooks in the concession stands. And lots of cars….. I am hearing that the A hobby class is going to be a big one, with lots of drivers stepping up to run A hobby this season. I know of at least 12 drivers who will be stepping up and taking the track in a A hobby car this season so that will prove to be the biggest class going in but we will see how it all works out.
Regardless of how things work out we will be racing this year at North Georgia Speedway nad I am excited! come on out and support your local track and watch some of the best drivers in the area do battle every Saturday night!

Maybe we can throw some of them “smaller” class purses toward the A-hobby cars 🙂 Sure would be nice for a $5,000 to win A-hobby race if we have a good 20 car count weekly.
